I read the other two reviews on here and wanted to raise the rating, because, although, I feel the one review (the longer one), was valid, I have to say, there is not a very wide choice of doctors, here in Palm Coast, on certain healthcare plans. I switched to Dr. Taveras from another doctor (outside of Island Doctors), because I felt they weren’t taking my entire health picture seriously enough. In my opinion,Dr. Taveras is the worst doctor I have ever visited. In the three times I saw him, I had to inform him he was reading the wrong chart or wrong time period for me. I found him to be very arrogant, argumentative and misinformed. He tried to double my cholesterol prescription even though I had gotten my ldl within the"near optimum" level based on John Hopkins University hospital and within 7 points of optimum.
