I initially went to Dr Theologis for a second opinion on a fusion surgical diagnosis from a non UCSF surgeon. Dr Theologis went through my MRI and treatment options in an extremely thorough and understandable manner and provided his recommendation which was similar but conducted in a different manner than the first diagnosis. I went home and checked reviews for Dr Theologis and was encouraged enough by the reviews and our interaction, that I decided to work with Dr Theologis instead of the first surgeon. Outstanding doctor. He answered all my questions and I feel very comfortable with him. I asked him to do my surgery.
Everyone, from front desk security to the office assistants and great doctors, is a 10. I would recommend Dr. Theologis to everyone I know. He's very kind and cares not only about why I am seeing him, but also takes my other health issues into consideration. I'm very lucky to have him as my doctor.
Dr. Theologis is terrific! But hospital at UCSF was awful!
