Very disappointed in Dr Empendrad. I saw him several years ago when I was first diagnosed with hypothyroidism so I recommend my mom to make an appointment with him when she was diagnosed with diabetes at 76 years old. Her first visit she was pleased with him and he put her on metformin but the medication was not bringing her blood sugar down. I called almost closing time. I was just trying my luck, it took about 3-4 rings but someone answered! He was very pleasant and patient as well. Dr. Empedrad is a knowledgeable physician. He is my dad's doctor and his diabetic management is great!
Review for Dr. Ampedrad’s Office Dr. Ampedrad is an attentive and friendly doctor with excellent bedside manner. He is knowledgeable and takes the time to listen, which I truly appreciate. However, the experience with his office staff has been extremely frustrating. It has been over three weeks, and the office has still not managed to send the necessary paperwork to my insurance so I can receive my medication. He was at the hospital when I was admitted gor something else he was absolutely terrific. with great suggestions.
Not really great at answering phone calls, so if you dont get an answer, call multiple times at different times from there. A straight and simple doc listens and solves any of your problems. I recently started visting him about a month ago, and he prescribed all my needed medications. Without any issues, the best part he had an appointment within the next day would definitely recommend!
