The UCSF Orthopedic Institue is AMAZING. Dr. Zhang is an EXCEPTIONAL surgeon. He successfully repaired the rotator cuff tears in both my shoulders (one 4 yrs ago the other in October). He is incredibly skilled, knowledgeable, kind, friendly, and truly cares about his patients. Dr Zhang and his team are incredible!! I had two hip surgeries this year for labral tear and impingement and I am like a new person now. I am so grateful for the amazing work that they do and the effort they put in to ensuring one is prepared and that recovery goes smoothly. Highly recommend his office.
Dr. Zhang was my second opinion doctor I had from my ski injury. The first doctor did not even go over my MRI or XRAY, and only looked at the report. Dr. Zhang went through all imaging in front of me and was able to detect that I had a torn ACL. He gave me his best opinion on surgery regarding how physically active I would like to be in the future.
