Told me my conversion disorder was for secondary gain. (Essentially that I was faking my symptoms to benefit myself) Also that I neeeded to lose weight. And tried to negate a diagnosis that I have had for 15 years. Said I could go off of my meds and that I was “pretty normal.” All of this in our first one hour appointment. Needless to say I won’t be going back.
