He then graduated from the University of Tennessee medical school where he was number 2 in his class and a member of the AOA Honor society.After spending a one year internship at Harbor General Hospital (UCLA) he did his residency at Baylor College of Medicine where he acted as chief resident his senior year. He is board certified in ophthalmology and served as examiner for the board for many years.

Dr. Jarrett, as well as everyone in his office, is thorough, attentive, knowledgeable, and patient. I have been going to him over 40 years and don't plan on going anywhere else. I drive 100 miles to see Dr. Jarrett. I rely on him and trust him completely. Without his expertise I would be blind.
Wonderful. They were able to get me in quickly. The office staff from phone to checkout were helpful and pleasant. Nurse and Dr Jarrett were polite, to the point, and I left with a diagnosis and a treatment plan. I am very grateful and will be returning …for more routine visits I hope.
