Over 20 years I dealt with a wound (ulcer) on the ball of foot-knowing that a bad infection could result in amputation. Dr Zonno was recommended by Mayo after the 1st 3 surgeon's were not successful in their combined 7 procedures. He is a very caring, sensitive doctor who listens, studies the situation and decides on the best plan - always with input from the patient. The area was drastically reduced and clearly was not the risk I previously faced.. The final procedure was today and I am sure it will negate any risk that had ... read more
Dr. Zonno is the only one in my area that even knew how to diagnose my ankle injury. I am younger then most of his clients and he really tries his best to do the most conservative routes on recovery. My injury was in august 2021 and I went months without even having my injury diagnosed. when I went to Zonno he found out more about my injury in so much less time. He continued treatment and didn't want to do surgery unless it was my last option because I was young. This year in August I went back because I was still having som... read more
Had ankle surgery with Dr Zonno in 2019. Had to go back first of July because I had quite a bit of pain in that ankle. X-ray showed a broken metal bracket. Dr Zonno scheduled me for a CT scan and told me to call his office the next day after the scan. Got the scan on Thursday, called Dr Zonno’s “team” and left a message the next day, Friday, as instructed.. It’s Monday and still no call back. Why tell me to call the next day if nobody is going to return the call? This is not the first time messages have gone unanswered or re... read more
Dr Zonno is great, have had ankle fusions on both feet now. He takes his time to explain everything, and genuinely cares for his patients
Dr Z saved me from being one step away from using a wheelchair! He diagnosed my PTTD & place me in a boot so I could heal without severe pain. I have had to see 3 doctors (knee, thumb & now my ankle) at Rockhill Orthopedic and I am so glad that all 3 doctors have been GREAT!!
(This review would be extremely long but there’s a word limit) I went to Zonno for my broken toe first. He told me it was a growth plate fractured but the diagnosis would change a lot. But later on I went to him for a twisted ankle. He put me in a cast twice despite there being no fracture. The cast was put on wrong so I had Achilles pain. I went to a different doctor and had to have surgery done to reverse his lack of treatment. Go somewhere else.
Dr. Zonno is exceptionally knowledgable. He's a conservative surgeon that truly cares about patient outcomes. More importantly he is well respected among other professionals in his field. Everyone at the hospital and practice speak highly of him. In fact, Physicians from hospitals like the Mayo Clinic refer their patients and family to Dr. Zonno.
oof. all i can say. what is this kid. had to end up seeing another doctor.
He has been very thorough in treating my broken ankle and cellulitis. My primary care doctor has been very pleased with Dr Zonno's thoroughness and exceptional care.
