My placenta came out in pieces. Dr. Murnane had the intern work in me while he watched the tv in the room. Dr. Murnane did not double check his work. I ended up bleeding for 6 weeks and had to have d&c surgery for retained placenta. A few years later my aunt used this doctor unaware of what happened to me and had a similar situation occur and needed surgery as well. What are the odds of that? I highly do not recommend this doctor.

Dr. Murnane is an amazing OBGYN. He truly cares about his patients and their unborn children. I had a high risk pregnancy and he was very involved the whole time. He was very openly proud of my child being born at full term when there was a high chance of a premature birth. I truly believe the great care and services from Dr. Murnane were one of the biggest reasons my child beat the odds. He delivered my second child a couple of days ago without me even knowing him as a doctor.But he did excellent,he was spot on,literally was in the room for no more than 15 minutes.He checked up on me the day after my delivery to see how I was doing.I'm grateful he was the doctor that was available to deliver my baby for me.
Dr Murnane man delivered my eldest son. He is a good doctor overall, but his staff treated me very poorly Katherine Elliot, and discriminated against me because of my race. Katherine Elliot fabricated information in my medical charts (stating I requested a medication I am highly allergic too, when this was never the case) Katherine Elliot Dr. Murnanes employee then had me dismissed from the practice, due to her false allegations she put in my medical charts, and personal distain towards people of color. After my previous gynecologist retired, I was finding it hard to find a doctor with the same mannerisms. Dr. Murnane is professional, compassionate, and personable. He 'listen' to what you are saying and tends to the need at hand. Dr. Murnane will make sure you feel satisfied bbefore you leave the office with all questions answered. The office staff is great. That is a plus in having a good practice.
Very caring, compassionate, knowledgeable. Includes husband in OB visits. Definitely gets my reccomendation as a great OB GYN.
Dr. Murnane is excellent, by far the best OB/Gyn I have seen. He has a lot of confidence in the birth process and does not push unnecessary or unwanted interventions. When a situation arises that warrants testing or closer attention, he explains the options in a detailed and non-pressuring manner. He is always respectful, has good bedside manner and actually listens to patients. Docotr is nice but staff is not helpful. Office is not very good about follow up for test results.
