I went to Dr. Vogel when I was in my 50’s. I asked him to give me a referral for a colonoscopy every time I saw him. My insurance would not pay unless I was given a referral from him. He always said I didn’t need one. When I turned 60, I insisted that he give me a referral. He finally did and I was diagnosed with colon cancer. Something that could have been prevented if polyps had been discovered before turning into cancer. My life has been miserable since cancer discovered. I've been patient With Dr. Fogel for a long time! Anything I want to know he gives me a straight answer I am pleased with the services. However sometimes the wait is a little long but for the most part he will see you within 25 minutes.
First off, the review that shredded Dr. Fogel is laughable. I have never felt disrespected or talked down upon by him. He is a straight shooter that isn't afraid to tell you his opinions. He doesn't judge you regardless of the situation and genuinely cares about his patients. I also give five-stars to the support staff in the office. They are very personable in the office and on the phone and always follow up, like they say they will. He is the WORST Doctor I have EVER been to. He has an Im Better than you attitude because Im the Doctor & youre Nothing. He has NO bedside manners at all. I had a bad cold & he told me to go home& drink chicken broth lol like i needed my doctor 2 tell me that vital info. I told him i was urinating way 2 often & he said Welcome to the 50's club.
