Best opthamologist in the state of Texas, if not the entire country. Yes, wait times can be long because Dr. Baribeau is so thorough. You are ALWAYS evaluated by Dr. Baribeau thoroughly, not just a PA or assistant, although all of his staff are wonderful. He is a living saint, to ALL of his patients, not just the rich and famous. Dr B is great but staff is disappointing in their handling of hygiene. The staff member taps the tip of eyedrops into his bare hands before applying them into my eyes, which sucks as I already had an infection and the restroom was out of soap- not a great combination. All he could say to me is “you’ll be fine” Not very professional. Even as I thanked him for being a good sport about my concerns, he just mocked me. Bottom line, he just didn’t care.
