Nice staff but the provider is extremely rude and doesn't listen. I'd give zero stars if I could. Do not recommend.
Excellent Dr, wish more were like her! I love how earnest and concise she is in in her assessments. I completely trust her judgment regarding my care.
I would give her 0 star if possible. No intension to help the patients at all. She makes me guilty about my health issue. She literally said "I can't help you." When I ask for her professional opinion, she has none. She is rude and no qualify for physicians. My Insurance paid her over $300 for 10 min visit. No outcome. She was super kind to other white patients hearing from the next room, while I was waiting in the room over 2 hrs.
I would recommend anyone to Dr Alamu. She has great listening, remembers patient history and provides meditation on a timely manner which was crucial for my case. Excellent friendly staff at Advent Health Tampa Neurology Clinic and getting appointments has always been easy.
My experience was great. Trigeminal neuralgia issue for over a year, 1 visit now no pain & have proper meds. Dr Alamelu was very tentative, listened and treated. Return visit 1 week later to review & ensure everything was going well. I’m stunned at some of the other reviews here, based on my experience she & the staff were professional, fixed my issue and no issues whatsoever.

Bad Doctor. She has too many patients. Didn't bother to look at the two MRIs she had done for my wife. She didn't even remember or had in her notes that she ordered the MRIs. She was completely flabbergasted when I told her that she had ordered the MRIs. She never even looked at the MRIs. Have to find a new neurologist for my wife ASAP. Just so you know, I'm not commenting on Dr M as a person. I really feel like she has a patient load so high that she cannot handle it.
By far, the most condescending, rude, arrogant dr. I've ever seen. My husband is in advanced dementia. She did testing on him and of course his results were very poor. She asked him if he had any questions and he said " I don't know why I failed so badly". She laughed at him and said "Of course you failed; that's why I gave it to you !" Then she looked at me and said "Congratulations, you are now the mother of a three year old !!!" Right in front of him. This is a man who had never failed a test in his life. Wonderful physician! Dr. Murugappan took time to go over my treatment plan and listened to everything I had to say. When transcribing notes, Dr. Murugappan is on point. Her notes are very detailed and well written. She is an asset to the medical profession.
My father was being assessed by Dr.Muru While in the ICU. She was condescending,abrupt,sarcastic, and very defensive when asked a question. Her bedside manner is disgusting.
