Installed my TKR which failed immediately. Ultimately told by their surgeon he could see nothing wrong and "we do not treat pain." Really, if one is an excellent ortho, what is he or she doing in Huntsville? Go to Vanderbilt or UAB if you need orthopedic surgery!

Don't go there! The Fitness Center at SportsMed will probably be closed within 6 months. Went in today to find out that for some reason director of the center that everyone really liked and replaced her with the night manager that 95% of the members can't stand. I don't know his name, he hardly talks to anyone, he has the personallity of a stick but nowhere near as smart as one. My wife Peggy and I have been members of the SportsMed Fitness Center since the summer of 2009. My wife had broken her hip and was in SportsMed Physical Therapy. When her therapy ended when Medicare coverage stopped, she was told she needed more therapy and training and they introduced us to the SportsMed Fitness Center. All of the staff took a personal interest in us and showed us all of the equipment and how to use it. The classes are awesome. This is the only place I know of where childcare is provided and classes are unlimited. I love that I can take a shower after my workout while they watch my kids, and they like being there too! Very friendly staff.
