I've been a patient for 6 years. When my cancer came back, I got a second opinion from a major cancer hospital, MSKCC, (to appease my family) they (Sloane) said (and I quote) "we are not quite sure how to treat you, your LV doctor (Fleury) has treated you very aggressively". That is the type of oncologist you want, one in your corner. I understand that communication is not what is said, rather, what is heard- so I always write down word for word what my doctors have said. Dr Fleury does give full disclosure on risk vs reward... read more
she never explained anything, Did surgery on me and was so cut and dry. Very poor bedside manner.
Poor bedside manner did surgical removal left room never said nothing else about complications, risks what to expect nothing will never come back to this office
Dr. Fleury made me feel very comfortable, communicated very clearly while remaining both friendly and professional. I feel as though I am in great hands with a person on the cutting edge of their field . Prior doctors made me feel as though they didn't care if I lived or died as long as they were paid; the difference here is that I feel that Dr. Fleury both cares about her patients and is honest about diagnoses and treatment options. As a cancer survivor, these are important factors in my decision to keep her as my doctor.
Dr. Fleury is very knowledgeable and took time to answer my questions. As far as the punctuality remember she is dealing with people who have cancer and have many questions regarding their condition and that takes extra time to answer questions.
Very prompt and knowledgeable. The office staff was friendly and professional as well. Dr Fleury had a great handle on my condition and made sure all angles were covered in my treatment. Would recommend without hesitation.
Waited undressed in a cold room for an hour for a 15 minuet visit to tell me my tumor grow 4.5 cm in 2 weeks just by doing a pelvic exam ? Need I say more ...
Horrible attitude dealing with patients. Follow up after surgery happened because I kept insisted on it. Finally after 1 month found out I had 2 cancerous tumors and did not have to wear a colostomy bag. I felt like a school doll to learn on, and whoever gave her a degree needs to be jailed!
I wouldn't have this doctor spay my dog. Her attitude rivals that of Lizzie Borden or Countess Bathory. I can equate my girlfriend's experience with Dr. Fleury to my experience with Dr. Dipak Desai being one of his former patients. She treats her patients like cattle to be slaughtered and taken to market.
