I fractured my knee cap in 2013, she sent me to physical therapy and everything was good so far. I tore my meniscus the following year and she told me I needed knee surgery to shave the meniscus, after my surgery, I had no idea I had to begin physical therapy a week or 2 after so that there’s no scar tissue build up. I had a feet procedure done on my left back in 2015 by Dr.Danko (I was 11 at the time ). I currently just discovered Health Grades. My foot surgery was unsuccessful in correcting my deviating flat foot. The procedure she chose just left me with a big scar and more pain and didn’t correct my flat foot deformity. She was dismissive in her follow up care. And later on in the year I had to find a new surgeon to cut into my incision again and remove scarred tissue left from her procedure. Dr. Danko is amazing HOWEVER, the receptionist Kelly is absolutely rude and unfriendly. The X-ray tech was also welcoming and helpful- they need to put him upfront.
Pro: Great doctor Con: She does have some admin issues (mainly staff) because appointment is cancelled after it is scheduled. Hope she can improve that for future patients.
The doctor seemed nice but our overall experience was unsatisfactory. The office staff are harsh and they seem desperate for money. We were billed over and over the same amount even though it was paid. Do not pay via phone or credit card. They will try to scam money from you so be very careful to get receipts and watch the billing dates.
DO NOT EVER BRING YOUR CHILD HERE! We came to see Dr. Danko last month for my 10 month old’s left foot because his toes curved inward. She diagnosed him with “mild club foot” and put a hard cast on. The cast fell off after 5 minutes of him crawling on the floor. We went back the next day and she put on a splint up to his thigh. After less than 24 hours, he was crying all day and night in pain. If I could give no stars I would! We came to see Dr. Danko last month for my 10 month old’s left foot because his toes curved inward. She mis-diagnosed him and put a cast on that left him in the worst pain with blisters after 24 hours. Joe DiMaggio’s diagnosed him in 2 seconds and said it would correct itself. He knew exactly which Dr. I was referring to when I told him what happened. She should be ashamed! To put a little baby in that much pain for your financial gain is disgusting.
Love this doctor! She knew exactly what to do and how to care for my son who just got his cast removed yesterday. Great personality, and great with kids. The staff is very friendly as well; prompt service!
