I saw him at his office for a hospital/surgery follow up. I did not feel heard and neither my husband nor I thought he would be reliable doctor for me
Was awakened during procedure due to his difficulties getting the probe where it needed to go. Was turned from one side to the other all while experiencing great discomfort. Dr. Turk didn't even bother to consult with me about it after the procedure! Disappointing experience all round.
I had an appointment scheduled to discuss issues before a procedure. An office person decided she had the wisdom to make the decision for me to cancel the appointment. Then the scheduling staff was rude to me when I requested answers as to why and who made the decision for me, the patient. I have heard from other previous patients that the doctor, especially, and the staff are rude but I decided to find out for myself. I have been going to Dr. Turk for 20 years or better. He listens to my concerns and is thorough. If it were not for him and his concern for myself and my family, at least 3 of us would be dead. He is always kind and courteous when I go to his office or for the procedures I have to have.
I can't believe the remarks that I've been reading. This man has done wonders for my condition and I would recomend him to anyone in a heart beat. As a matter of fact I'm taking my daughter to him very soon.
How this man is still able to practice medicine is beyond me. After consistently extreme unprofessional behavior on his part year after year, willfully ignoring important information and arbitrarily making bizarre conclusions in the face of clear facts to the contrary, he’s made it very clear he should not be treating anyone anymore. Spare yourself the consequences of going to him and pick another gastroenterologist.
Dr Turk was very professional and caring. My office visit, as well as the procedures, were seamless. I would highly recommend this doctor.
He told my mother to buy new clothes!!! Seriously. She’s not a bum. Who does he think he is?! Just because he’s a doctor, takes her money AND makes more money she does, doesn’t give him a right to be judgmental. Beware! She won’t be going back to the one that thinks he’s righteous!
I came here after having a second and truly awful experience with Dr. Turk. I see other patient comments that mirror what I went through. His bedside manner is really something I haven't experienced before. I could go through every little moment of my visit but I'm not sure where to begin. I encourage others to seek help elsewhere.
