She is knowledgeable and absolutely great with my kids. She's wonderful and I'm so grateful she takes care of my kids!
My daughter has been going to Dr Hunt for over 5 years now and I can't sing her praises enough! She's had many complicated health problems and she never hesitates to refer us to specialists when it is medically necessary. She always takes her time to answer all of my questions (which can sometimes be many). Dr Hunt is also extremely patient with my daughter and it's obvious she truly cares about my child. We love her and won't go to anyone else!
My three kids have been going to see Dr. Hunt since we moved to Texas over 2 years ago. She is great! Very personable, professional and we've never had any problems with her or her staff. Laura, her head nurse is terrific! The office is shared with many other doctors but when you make an appointment, she is usually on time unless she has an emergency situation but that is expected being a peditrician and making herself available to her young patients in emergency situations. I can't speak for the negative reviews but "young" is not a bad thing. Being fresh out of medical school 3+ years seems to give Dr. Hunt an edge because her knowledge is fresh and updated. Over confident parents w/ little medical knowledge concern me when posting reviews about doctors. We absolutely love Dr. Hunt. She is very kind, knowledgeable and just overall wonderful. Never again. Awful office staff, very rude. Wait times unacceptable. Dr hunt is over confident but clearly undereducated and treated me and my child with disrespect and wrong info. Stay away..
This Dr. is young and inexperience. I would stay away from her if you don't want your child as a test subject. During our two yr old well visit, she pulled my sons foreskin too far back and injured him. The known medical advise is never to do that. She then tried to blame us for not taking care of our child. She is covering up her incompetence. Even her mentoring Dr. told us that it should retract natureal, but the Southlake Family Medicine practive won't take any responsibility on the matter.
