I am so disappointed. I have heard great things about Dr. Wassef and really hoped to see him soon, but the receptionist/man who picked up the call was terribly rude, disrespectful and condescending. This has been one of the worst experiences I’ve had with a psychiatrist. I’m unsure if it was due to age bias, racial bias, or simply that he didn’t like me. Throughout my care, he repeatedly accused me of being addicted to substances, even though I sought help for sleep and anxiety.
