Dr. Akintobi is a God fearful man, respectfully Dr. listening to your problems, and taking good care of his patients. To me he is a great Doctor.
Normally I have a pleasantly professional experience with the providers and staff. I recently went in to have important papers faxed and the Caucasian female at the front desk was very rude. I've never encountered such behavior over the years that I've been a patient. This type of treatment really has me rethinking returning to this offiice. Patients should NEVER, be subjected to this type of behavior from the staff. Although the office manager was able to step in and resolve the issue, I left the office with mixed feelings.
I was not pleased with my last visit. The nurse who greeted me showed me to the exam room not the triage area. While in the exam room she asked me to sit on the exam table which is a challenge for me due injuries. She just stood there.She proceeded to take my blood pressure. I pushed my sleeve up . She was firmly holding my arm in her hand and snatched my sleeve and pulled it down instead of asking me to take my shirt off. I tried to get my arm from her. My arm was held straight as board. I am a caregiver.On several occasions, I have had to called this office to get/give information for my patient. Let me say that I encountered the WORSE customer service imaginable. The person(s) who manage the phone act as if you are bothering them by calling. If you tell them "THANK YOU" they never say "YOU'RE WELCOME", They either say "NO PROBLEM/WORRIES" and hang up or simply hang up. These people need a lesson in COMMON COURTESY and TELEPHONE ETIQUETTE because they sure are lacking in that area!
This is the worst Doctor and Staff I have ever came across. 50 problems or more starting at day one. First day, for my check up I informed them I had changed doctors from my formal location, I gave them all my medical information for them to call to get my medical prescription. What should have took 1 to 5 days for them to send it over took them 3months. My pharmacy tried to contact them numerous of times for 3 months to ask where is my prescription no call back to this day. I called them to get answers the first time phone ... read more
