Two years ago, I had a problem tooth (upper molar) that had already been through two root canals. (I was desperate to save the tooth and spent $5,000 to do so.) Some time after the second root canal, the problem persisted and I visited three dentists all of whom said things like, "You're flossing too hard" or "you're not flossing enough."
