I had surgery done to increase the mobility of my big toe. Since this surgery, I have limited movement. Physical therapy has helped but would not recommend the procedure. It has set me back which is the opposite of what I was told. The team is nice here but I am not sure I would recommend it.
Dr. Port was my husband's surgeon this past week after being admitted to Piedmont Eastside Medical Center. He was extremely knowledgeable and attentive to both mine and my husband's concerns. He took the tiny bit of extra time before and after surgery to be sure I was well informed and could communicate to my husband. Before discharge he visited the hospital and made sure my husband was comfortable with his go forward treatment plan and had no remaining questions. Dr. Port made a tough set of circumstances much better!
