Delays delays delays. I left my last appointment after waiting almost 2 hours. Rescheduled for today, one of the first appointments, and it's been more than 90 minutes since this process started. Pick a different provider.

I would give them a minus star if there was one. I called Corryville office to make appointment for an ophthalmologist explaining it had been a year and a half since I had seen my former doctor in California failing to keep up with my 6 month checkups on an eye condition I have. Instead of a medical doctor they provided me an optician unqualified to address the medical condition who gave me just a brief basic eye appointment. I receive excellent care from Dr. Hinel. This one-star review is because CEI cancelled my payment plan and now say they will not set up a new one. I have tried calling multiple times and they always transfer me to a “financial counselor,” where I sit on hold for 20 minutes and then the line disconnects. On another frustrating note, there are sometimes extraordinarily long wait times. I need to see a specialist within CEI. If I had other local provider options, I would consider leaving CEI due to their administrative issues.
I had surgery on 7/28/25 and 8/11/25. The medical staff were very professional and caring. Dr. Peter Chen was very nice an caring. I would recommend CEI to people to use for eye care.
