Dr. Duke gave me my life back. He is efficient, intelligent, and genuinely cares about providing the best treatment possible. My surgery with him earlier this year couldn't have gone more smoothly, and I now feel better than ever before after years of suffering from chronic pelvic pain. I am so thankful for Dr. Duke and his exceptional staff!
We’ll start with the bad. Dr. Dukes surgery gave me double infections. My surgery was stageIV endometriosis excision, hysterectomy and appendectomy. A few days post op I couldn’t get my fever to go away and also had non stop diarrhea/abdominal pain. I felt like death. I was also bleeding moderately and the nurses/Dr. Duke kept telling me this was all normal. I called for a couple more days then went to my local ER where they did a CT scan. About 8 years in to fighting Endo, and too many doctors/appointments/hospital visits in to count, I was recommended Dr. Duke by my PCP. I had expectations so low they were buried. I'd spent almost a decade being dismissed for any reason a dr could come up with. After years of suffering, I’m about a week post op with dr Duke and am so optimistic! My experience with him and his staff was amazing, the office was very helpful and always patient with me, as I had lots of questions. They were all so sweet and went above and beyond to help me since I was from out of state. Dr. Duke is amazing! He was able to figure out my issues within minutes in one visit. I had spent thousands and two years and 4 doctor trying to get help. All the other doctors said it was all due to being in my thirties and all normal. I know my body and knew it was not normal. Thank god for a doctor that listens.
