He’s been giving me meds that make me sick in order to avoid a controlled substance. I understand using caution, but he even said that my disorder is more diagnosed in the US and isn’t diagnosed in other countries because adults should “grow out of it” and basically said it wasn’t real and upped my dose of medication that isn’t working instead of switching. Very disappointing and frustrating.
I am relieved to have found a caring, respectful and competent doctor. The negative reviews are unwarranted in my opinion. Bear in mind, pill seekers will be angry if they don’t get their preferred Rx. If the doctor thinks it it’s not what you need, he shouldn’t give do it. That would make him popular, but a bad doctor. Failure to renew necessary medicine that I have been taking for over ten years. I have reported his negligence to the PA State Board of Medicine.
Dr. Saba is a very good psychiatrist. Good listener. Excellent clinician. Very caring. Will try anything to help the patient. Not impressed with office staff.
Cuts corners, overprescribes, talks down to patients, vile in all regards.
This doctor had been seeing my son who was a minor with severe depression, severe OCD, severe anxiety among many medical issues. His wife texted not long before my son’s appointment and texted a confirmation time that was not our appointment time. I would normally accommodate, but we had another appointment right before and were not available until my son’s scheduled time. I replied and let them know that. He does not even pretend to be empathetic. He even chuckles at some things making me think he believes my feelings are invalid. I honestly feel he only cares about getting paid his $100 cash or check ONLY for return visit. He even wanted to make sure I dropped it off at the office mailbox during the pandemic. Most of out telephone appointment was asking me why I didn't pay for the last telephone appointment. Honestly I did not realize I wouldn't be going to the office next visit and thought I could pay then.
My 12 yo son getting sleep meds from him for two years. My son is H.F. autist, and I'm a divorced mom of two, so I am struggling to get to Drs. appts. I also have no phone. Missed an appt. but called as soon as I had access to phone. Went to appt with son, and sat there 30 mins past our appt time because his ex-manager who retired (Vicki) came into see him, and was in his office 30 mins when it should have been my son's appt. He understood exactly where I was coming from and what I needed in psychiatric help I have never found another doctor as caring as outgoing and concerned with their patients like I have with dr. Saba
