This man was disrespectful and extremely rude. He made me feel as if I had wasted his time.

I’ve been seeing him for a few years due to epilepsy. I was recently hospitalized with septic shock, was in a coma. I went to Dr. Dinar for a follow up. I asked about memory and cognitive issues I’ve been having. He began to yell at me, saying he doesn’t know anything about that since he only treats my seizures. (Which is only bc that’s the only neuro issue I’ve had so far.) When I went home, I checked the Cleveland Clinic website, which clearly says brain damage is a complication of septic shock. A neurologist should know t... read more

I had a terrible visit with Dr Dinar. I was having weakness in my left leg and arm and was having trouble walking along with other issues and my primary care was worried about MS. I was limping badly. He literally shrugged his shoulders and said “I don’t know what you want me to do, your exam is normal”. I requested a spinal MRI as the neuroradiologist who read my brain MRI had recommended it-he said it wouldn’t show anything but if I demanded it, fine. In the notes he said he recommended cognitive behavioral therapy. (NEVER... read more

My second visit and my last. Dr. Dinar got irritated and impatient because I asked questions that in his opinion were not strictly related to memory issues I was having. I asked them because I wanted his opinion as they could relate to my condition. He obviously was bothered by my questions, started to raise his voice and made me feel totally stressed to the point that I wasn't able to relax for the rest of the day finding hard to believe that I had such experience with a doctor. I guess patients are not allowed to ask quest... read more

I have no idea what has happened to this office but it’s not positive. I arrived and I stood at check-in for over 15 mins and no one would help me. No one acknowledged me at all. Finally I had to ask for help. Once seated, I waited to be called for 75 minutes. After 60 mins I went to the check in and stood there without an an acknowledgment. The lady didn’t even look at me or say a word. Once I was finally in an exam room, my procedure was so much more painful than usual and my injection sites oozed the solution into my eyes... read more

Dr Dinar decided by the way I described my dizzying experience that my problem was my ears. You don’t have a loss of vision from your ears. He spent less than 5 minutes with me and wrote me a prescription I didn’t need and never told me what the prescription was. He never asked any questions about my vision loss or about the pain in the right side of my head.

Visited Dr. Dinar with transient weakness/paralysis in my right foot. He ordered some nerve studies and a brain MRI. The MRI revealed a 3.5 cm tumor, which he then totally dismissed as inconsequential to my case. I still have no idea why, since my symptoms were indeed consistent with the presence of the tumor (left side parasagittal meningioma). It was subsequently removed at a major neurosurgery center. His advice was a pure miss, and any further delay in treatment could have led to a less positive outcome. The abysmal comm... read more

Absolutely not! Did not listen to what I was trying to tell him. He just kept telling me my problem was the “aging process and arthritis” gave me a Rx and never told me what it was for 2 months later I was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease by another neurologist. By that time I could hardly walk, went many nights with no sleep along with many of the other issues that go along with PD I felt like I was losing my mind. No I’d never recommend him.
