Following Spinal compression fractures in 2024, I then had months of pain from November 2024 caused by severe Spinal Stenosis(Lumbar L4/5). I had severe leg pain in both legs into Glutes, Hamstrings and Calves - sometimes feet. Having Chronic Bronchitis did not help as every cough caused my hamstrings to 'rip' as if they were being torn. I was referred to Dr Stevenson by my GP, due to ongoing, severe nerve pain that radiated down my neck, shoulders and arms. Dr Stevenson from the start was genuinely empathetic to my medical situation. He clearly discussed the results of my MRI scan and the need for me to have spinal surgery as soon as possible. I have been impressed with the advice, surgery and care provided by Dr Stevenson after more than a decade of back pain, a range of medications and treatments to manage the ongoing pain and impact on my daily life.
