Unfortunately he appears to have lost touch with his patients. His attitude is dispassionate and he no longer listens ….arrogance or hearing loss ?? Probably time for him to strongly consider retirement.
Patient wait times are excessive (over an hour is common).While under his care, my prostate cancer progressed from stage 1 to stage 4 before he recommended any intervention. Unforgivable.
As I get ready to have surgery for Kidney stone removal, I am reminded of my first experience with Dr. Yuan. At first glance, Dr. Yuan could tell my discomfort level and acted immediately to help. Being one of many he must see on a weekly basis, I felt like he had complete compassion and concern for me alone. Passed off foamy urine as air in my vagina. Dismissed my concerns about two kidney stones I never passed and other urinary issues, including severe pain in back and abdomen. Claimed he never heard that foamy urine could be a sign of kidney disease, although every reputable medical website I've seen asserts that it is. Dr. Yuan is not a pleasant doctor to be around. His bedside manner is rude and unpleasant to a patient that is anxious about a procedure. I would not recommend Dr. Yuan to any patient needing Urology services.

Over a month to schedule, then got rescheduled 3 times, every time 2 weeks out, I finally get my app. and then 5 days later no results on labs, prescription ran out and all I'm told is "tough" we don't control the lab, all this time mind you, with pain, discomfort and worsening symptoms and they don's seem to care one bit.
Went to Sherlag looking for a second opinion after experiencing serious, ongoing post-surgery complications from a prior procedure with another doctor. Proceeded to spend my appointment being loudly berated by Sherlag in a hostile tone after suggesting the previous urologist may have made a mistake in the surgery, and aggressively shamed for DARING to question whether the surgical report was accurate. I would give him negative stars if possible, very rude and not respect to his patient.
Horrible experience and after telling my friends and coworkers about this, they agreed....they had heard horror stories about this practice.
