Dr Joe is the best OB/GYN , that is why I have been a patient of his for 20+ years. He is always friendly and genuinely concerned about me when I come in for my annual visit. His staff is also very friendly - I love the nurse that checks me in and takes my vitals for my visit. Karen , Dr Joe's nurse is wonderful too. She is always friendly and patient with you. She offers great advice too. I have recommended Dr Joe to several ladies through the years and will continue to recommend him in the future.
I have been a patient of Dr. Joe for 25 years. He delivered both my children and has performed 2 surgeries post babies. He is a doctor who gueniunely cares for his patients and has a staff providing excellent service and care. This is why I still travel from Jacksonville Beach, FL to see Dr. Joe for my annual exams and necessary visits.
Dr Edwards is the WORST OB I’ve encountered by far! This is my 3rd pregnancy and he made my first visit with him more of a interrogation. When I was open and Honest about some prior things in my relationship that I felt the need to bring up due to possible issues with my current pregnancy he turned into Jerry springer / Maury ! Dr. Edwards has been my OB/GYN for almost 20 years. Best doctor and his nurse Karen are both awesome!
Talks down to pts gets mad easily has a temper and takes it out on his pts. He will never be the doctor his dad was don’t bother to see this doctor.
"You are much too young to have anything seriously wrong with you." That is an EXACT quote he said to me at 32 years old, so I saw no reason to see him any more. I do not have a medical degree but having worked for doctors since my early twenties and seeing 2 year olds die from brain tumors, and having a friend at the time who was dying of ovarian cancer at 28 years old - who was diagnosed at 24 years old, that statement did not set well with me. I knew he would not take any of my complaints or concerns seriously.
He is a very arrogant man who does not give the same quality care to fat people like he does to skinny people. The man insulted me, my weight, my intelligence, my family, and overall who I am as a woman. If I had not been a Christian woman, he would have gotten cussed out and possibly slapped. However, I took the high road and just did not allow him to touch me. Dr. Edwards is incredible. He delivered both my children years ago. More recently, he performed a full hysterectomy on me this past summer. In addition, he took care of my hemeroids at the same time. I trust him completely.
Dr. Joe is the best of the best! He has been my doctor for the past 20 years. He delivered both my babies and has seen me through two surgeries. I trust him to always be honest and real. I am so thankful to have a doctor who treats me like family.
