Daily lunch special ~ Tuesday. Ziti and chicken cacciatore. Superb lunch, only 10 Bucks ! Finally, after years of hearing recommendations from friends.
This has always been my “Go To” place since they opened 20 years ago; I have been there well over a hundred times in those years. Sadly last night was disappointing. The atmosphere is no longer the quaint hidden Italian gem. The music was far from an Italian Restaurant; it was annoying and loud. The service was less than average and whoever decided to change the sauce for the Saltimbocca made a big mistake. I will go back again in hopes it was an off night.
Early dinner at a nice relaxing place, almost feels like home.
My coworker recommend this restaurant to me as I live on the South Shore and do not know any restaurants North of Boston. And let me tell you I was amazed! I ordered the eggplant parmigiana and my Mother ordered the chicken parmigiana. The tomato sauce was so good and the eggplant tasted delicious. I ate my whole meal, which I never do. I will make the drive back again for more of this authentic Italian food.
You can't beat this place! From the moment you walk in and Angela is hosting, you know you are in good hands, she is a marvel at keeping the tables full and the customers happy! Always willing to accommodate requests and remains calm no matter how long the line is to get in, she is an absolute treasure! Amazing fresh Italian food!
Great service Angelina and excellent food. Recommend the Mussels and Veal Marsala. I wish I had remembered to bring my wine though, they don't serve liquor.
