No proper examination has been done for the amount paid. No email reports sent which were supposed to be sent by the receptionist (mentioned at the desk). Extremely expensive ($160 for eye exam) and they write the medicine available only at them which costs more than $70 just for eye drops. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

I first started with Downtown Vancouver optometry clinic back in 1989 with Dr. Komarnicky and Sheri worked in the office. I was very sad when he retired; however, Sheri is still working in the office and she is an absolute doll among the others that also work there. Myself and my family live in Port Moody and never hesitate to make a trek downtown for eye exams or to pick up my contacts because of the office atmosphere. Laura DeStefano 🥰
I've been a customer for over 20 years. Dr Gafur is great and always takes the time to explain things. All the staff are super friendly and helpful. John is fantastic - he is very patient and knowledgeable and he makes the process of getting new glasses or lenses that much easier. Great team, great service. Thank you!
Horrible experience with front desk staff. Have called 3 times over 2 weeks & they didn’t call me back. Sad to say I’m not going to deal with this office again.
