This was my first time attending an event hosted by the downtown society. I was very impressed. The event was a wine tasting and very well put together. The light refreshments that were put together by Susie's were chefs . I'm definitely going to take a trip to the Apple Creek Valley winery. Their sangria is some of the best I've tasted by far
5 wineries were having tastings and selling bottles of their wines. There were food trucks parked on Center street west of New Madrid Street. But the band this year was killing it. I think the band's name was Fault Line. Maybe they are from New Madrid. Even the weather was good.
