My family visited Container Park for the first time today. We had a great time. My boys loved the park & live music. Hubby and I are looking forward to visiting w/ the kids!
Not a bad little place. I have always been hesitant about that side of town, but the park has cleaned it up. Wished there were more stores, loved the playground

Stare at the flaming praying mantis long enough and it'll burn your eye brows off! I never jumped so hard when it's antenna blew up and I wasn't expecting it.
This container park is certainly a well-marketed hot spot for like-minded individuals who celebrate the gentrification of downtown. What other place can you shop, eat, drink and listen to music without having to experience the discomfort of teenagers or folks [who look like they are] without homes? I think my favorite part was being stopped with my partner on the way in and told that people under 18 years old are not welcome without an adult.
