My assessment of Steve Downing (hereafter D.) is objective & empirical. D. was appointed the GAL for our daughter in a custody case. He called our 8-year-old daughter, who was just abused by her mother, a liar. During a meeting, he ordered my daughter to exit the room so the adults could talk. Upon leaving she hugged me & he slammed his fist on his desk, yelling, "I didn't say you could do that!" He terrified her & I felt her little body jolt!
