Everyone at this pharmacy is really nice. The prices are also really reasonable. A 90 day supply of my medicine is about $200 cheaper at Downhome than it would have been at Kroger. So thankful to have this pharmacy in our community.
Did you know you would be happier and better served by a small, independent, family-owned, family-run pharmacy than by a big name giant like CVS, Walgreens, Rite-Aid, etc.? After many (frustrating) years dealing with CXX Pharmacy I recently made the switch to our local, neighborhood pharmacy. I found EVERYTHING that had been sorely lacking at the big box stores, beginning with superior customer service. they are great and fast at giving shots
I get my cats compounded prescription made here and they do a great job. If I ever have a question, they are always helpful and happy to answer.
I also left Walmart pharmacy because almost every month there were mistakes and delays in feeling my or one of my grandchildren monthly prescriptions. The final straw was their refusal to run one through insurance because it could be bought over the counter. I took it to down home and they ran it through insurance with no problem. That was a couple years ago, and they have been filling our prescriptions ever since.
Fantastic local family owned and operated. You won’t find a better family to take care of you than the Lucas’s.
