Dan Downey takes a personal interest in the work. His workers have pride in their craftsmanship, but Dan is there making sure everything is done to his exacting standards.
As a real estate broker, I need someone who does quality work at reasonable pricing. Time and time again, Mr. Downey has satisfied my customer's and even handled and saved a large commercial sale I was working on by his ability to also repair the interior of a building after a serious roof leak. Dependable, knowledgeable, fast and reasonable. I would not hesitate to recommend to any of my customers.
nice guy but could not completely satisfy me.Used subpar items but did try to compensate with price break.

very good customer, miscommunication as to what we origally agreed upon. he asked us to replace a shower door, but never specified the type of door. we replaced the door with a similar one to what he had, which was broken and stained. we discounted this small job over $200.00 very nice man, in the future we will provide the make and model of what we are replacing if at all possible to avoid this type of misunderstanding.

I hired this company to fixed my window leak. I requested to remove the fascia board to check. When the workers came to do the work, they simply remove 2 row of tiles and rake tiles. The found 2 areas missing tar paper. They fixed it, but after 1 week, the window leak again. The company came back to remove tiles and fascia board. I saw tar paper and flashing were missing behind. If you read her comments, she was telling us how to fix her leak, and was not interested in letting us do our job unless she could supervise the work and tell us what to do. She never paid us, and we were on the job for two days. If you don't pay your bill, we can't warranty the work. We spent 1800 dollars on materials on this job. as you can see, anyone can give you a review on home advisor even if they never paid you. the five star reviews are real
very professional, knowledgeable, immediate response, fast scheduling, phone call to follow up. Definitely hire this contractor. Fair pricing too!
I can recommend this company without hesitation. Service of Mr. Downey was exceptional. The workers performed the repair with attention to detail and the materials used were of quality, much improved over builder standard.
