I know folks in the design world like to keep excellent trades and vendors a secret - but I have to give praise where praise is due. Down West deserves it. I’ve worked with Preston and the crew at Down West on a number of design jobs - their fit and finish is second to none and that’s likely because their process up front is incredibly thorough. They are excellent at communication (which is key) and they aren’t afraid to make suggestions and get creative. So, there you have it - the secret is out - Down West is the best.
We LOVE the custom cabinets from Down West!!!! The quality and customization is a 10/10!! The owner and every person on his team are available, accommodating, professional, friendly and exacting. We enjoyed having them in our home. Our cabinets, experience, and follow up have been the best. Highly recommended!!!!!
Preston is next level with taking care of his customers. He did our primary bathroom cabinets. There are gorgeous. After only a week we noticed a scratch on them which we had no clue where it came from. Preston ended up fixing the scratch for free - and super fast. I would never have someone else do our cabinets in our home moving forward. Excellent professional company
The BEST experience with our butlers pantry project! Look no further if you are thinking about custom cabinetry...... Preston has an excellent eye for detail and he was so great to collaborate with during the design process. I wanted oak cabinets and during one of the design meetings he mentioned that he just started carrying a european white oak and the look was exactly what I wanted. Preston was easy to work with and the finished bathroom cabinet was fantastic; built to spec and literally perfect! But that's not the end of it. Our builder messed up, and Preston came to the rescue going above and beyond. The only downside was he's quite busy, not surprisingly. So plan ahead.
