Great campground will go back.
We camped and reserved the shelter for a family reunion a few weeks ago. The place and grounds itself are good, but there are no trash cans available in the campground. Had we known, we would've made sure to bring our own bags. The most frustrating part was a woman who was camping in the rustic area who kept coming to the shelter to charge her phone when we rented it. We let her do it while we were setting up, and she proceeded to blast music and spit and say things to us in what sounded like jibberish, but then telling us s... read more
Just stayed overnight to camp. Definitely a family-oriented place what with all the activities available. I'd agree with the assessment regarding the restroom- one big industrial sink more geared towards commercial kitchen use and washing pots and pans than a restroom. Decent for an overnight stay to be sure. I'll admit my bias- I'm more of a state parks guy myself. Oh, one more thing- be aware you're not far from a railroad track where trains go through at night.
