Let me start off on my experiences with my PREVIOUS dentists before I started going to Dowdy and Dowdy: I've been through about 3 dentists through my life since I was a kid and often had bad experiences at my pediatric dentists beforehand. My previous pediatric dentists were always rough, causing discomfort and have even made me vomit a few times, I always felt like I was getting waterboarded. A church member recommended this dentist to me so I called and asked to schedule a cleaning and was told that I could not. I asked if they were accepting new patients and the lady bluntly stated 'no'. It did not seem like a genuine answer, and as though I was just turned away with only the explanation I concluded.
