RecommendedSuch a wonderful place!! We really enjoyed being there. Lynn is so knowledgable about the tools and all their ins-and-outs. We spent almost 3 hours there talking about tools - it was fantastic! As someone close to the tool industry it was great to see so many in one spot. He gave us an awesome deal and recommended his wife's pie shop, Piefalootin, which was divine!
If you collect vintage woodworking tools, this is like a candy store of goodness. Mr Dowd is very generous with his time and extremely knowledgeable about tools. I needed what I thought was a very random part for an old Stanley miter box, described what I was looking for and Mr Dowd walked to a drawer, rifled around and pulls out the perfect part I wanted in less than 30 seconds. Can’t say enough about awesome it is to visit.
