Dover Forge was the perfect place for our group of 23 to celebrate a birthday. We had a spacious private room that allowed for a rousing cocktail hour; the tables were set in a u shape where we could see and communicate easily; the waitresses were so nice and accommodating; and the food came in a timely fashion and was great! I recommend the smoked ribs! A fun,comfortable, rustic,informal atmosphere.
Excellent food, great drinks and really nice service!
We got the cheese and meat platter and it was ok, kinda boring but the tips were good...we got the wild mushroom ragout and the smokes meatloaf, meatloaf was overcooked and the ragout was really bland and tasteless led along boring, most likely to not come back. P.S chef should take some classes�
We had our wedding here this past weekend and we couldn't be happier with the location or service!!!!
The rustic arch and the chairs for guests were set up in the field away from the restaurant. Enjoyed an outdoor wedding here in the seasonal tent with a fantastic menu of appetizers outdoors and barbecue foods that all the guests raved about at the tables set up inside the tent. Pictures were taken at the pond, on the pathway to the gazebo and in the giant wood chair. At night, we gathered around the fire pit and lit sparklers.
