When we lost our brother we called Lynn at Dove Furneral home and we were treated with so much compassion and patiences. We were devestated by his unexpected death but they took our hand and made the tragedy a lot less painful by having reasonable rates and the time we needed to get family here. The furneral although not a happy time was handled with great professionalism. When Dad could not sit in the room during the furneral they put his chair in the door way and stayed by his side until it was over. Thank you Dove for being the best price and having the very best personal. We will be forever grateful for all the help you gave us during the worst time in our lives. We HIGHLY recommend you to everyone. May God Bless you all.

I am very sand to read your review. What you failed to mention unfortunately this became a medical examiner case after your family physician signed the death certificate. At that point it was out of our hands as to when we could cremate until the M.E. finished their investigation and gave us permission. We certainly don't like any delays for our families but unfortunately when the medical examiner takes jurisdiction it becomes a more complicated situation.

You told us it would take 7-10 days to get death certificates done and get it signed by the physician. My father past away June 19th, it is now June 30th and the death certificates are not signed. My father is still in the crematory waiting to me cremated and the family who is under so much sorrow and stress is waiting to making burial arrangments but can't because we are now on the 12th day from his death waiting to hear the go ahead to be cremated. We had the deceased daughters drive and fly down from North Carolina hoping to be here for the burial but could not wait any longer and had to leave back to North Carolina before the burial. We gave the funeral home my fathers personal physician's information to speed things up. There should be deadlines by law as to when the funeral homes should prepare the death certificate and deadline for the doctor to sign it.
