Called this guy up and told him my house had been hit by lightning and I had 5 tv's that needed to be looked at and my insurance adjuster needed a report that included the problems found and the repair or replacement costs. He said he could do this and had done this many times. Guy showed up and started taking the back covers off the tv's one at a time. Doug was able to quickly diagnose the problem with my TV. Although he had to order a part, he returned within just a couple of days (when he said he would). He was on time both times he came, and charged what he told me he would charge, which I thought was a very fair price for home service. I would definitely use Doug again, and I highly recommend him!
Our tv lost its picture and went totally black with just sound. We decided to have someone look at it before running out to buy another. We called Doug and he came out and checked it and unfortunately it was not repairable, but he was prompt and professional and totally honest, which I really appreciated. I would not hesitate to refer him to a friend or use him again if we have any more tv issues at our business or home. Thanks Doug!
Nice Guy – I had my 55 inch Samsung go on the fritz on Doug was great to work with. He was able to come to the house after hours after my wife and I got home from work to work on the problem. He onyl asked that we pay him his fee for coming out ONE TIME! He diagnosed the problem as best he could and the came out the second time to install the power board. It didn't fix the problem, he suggested another aleternative and then came out a third time to install that piece and again, no charge. In the end, the problem with the tv ... read more
Doug is The real thing! – In today's world it's hard to find hard working RELIABLE folks to do work for your electronics. Doug is one of those people you WANT to call for your TV repair. On time for the APT...trouble shot the problem...orderded the part and came back and installed it when it came. Doug is a nice guy, his rates are reasonable and he's good. Don't get ripped off by the "Geeks"! I was totally impressed.
Doug is Great! – Doug returned my call quickly and arrived promptly for our appointment. He was professional and polite. Doug explained what he thought was wrong with my television and gave me some further advice to guard against future damage. He had to order a part to complete the repair. He followed-up with me and even checked if he could come back to finish EARLIER than he planned. No surprises and the cost was exactly as he quoted. Prompt, Accurate and Polite – Doug diagnosed the problem with my 50" 1080p, DLP, HDTV over the phone yesterday simply by my description. He ordered the part, called this morning and said it was in, came out and fixed the problem within 20 mins of his arrival. He even beat me to the house and WAITED! Price was exactly what he quoted, service was amazing and I'm happy to refer him to anyone with tv repair needs!!
