I have been going to Doug's 2 for, 4 years now. They are a very busy place, but I find the people that work there, to be very nice, and professional. Big kudos to Emily Rose, that does my hair, too!
Doug's 2 Salon-Spa is a very well known salon in the Montgomery area. People really enjoy the atmosphere and services that they offer.
Would not waste my time or money..Very unprofessional staff..to many people booked at the same time so what should take a hour takes four..then shampoo girls are horrible and wash your entire face and burn your head then lose your earrings because they are so rough..not worth anything to go there

The staff and stylists at Doug's 2 Salon-Spa have always been helpful and courteous during my appointments.
I have to agree with the military wife that posted above. This is the least welcoming salon I've ever been to. While the stylist did a good job with my hair, I was made to feel like I wasn't good enough to be there. They could've made my hair look like celebrity hair and I still wouldn't go back.
I moved to Montgomery a little over a year ago. Looking fir a salon that does normal highlights etc and not weaves/braids is tough. I settled for Dougs 2 and have since cut off ties. I've tried two stylists and neither were interested in any small talk. Makes a three hour visit VERY long. I also have felt unwelcome in their store... Like an outsider. As a military spouse this is the first area I've felt unwelcome. So much for the Southern hospitality.
The spa services are excellent. I would highly recommend Nicole for massage service. However, their new location is very cramped and the spa area is the size of a closet. There is no place to have lunch on a sap day package. It will be nice when they get into their own building.
