The entire staff at the pediatric urology clinic and Dr. Clayton are exceptional. I would highly recommend them to family and friends if they are in need of help of pediatric urology for a child that they love.
Dr. Clayton has always been very thorough. He talks to my grandson and even tells him he knows how uncomfortable the procedure is. He answers any & all questions to your level of understanding and has never made us feel inadequate or unintelligent. Has the best bedside manor and will come to see my Grandson while he is inpatient, even if its just to reassure us. Replies to messages that are sent and ensures everything has been taken care of. Hope he never leaves Vandy, he is the only Urologist I trust with my grandsons care.
Dr. Clayton was an answer to our prayers. He was able to correct a surgical procedure done by another surgeon. He was persistent in making sure my son received the very best care. He personally communicated with me and my son. His bedside manner was outstanding and compassionate. He spoke with my son and made sure the procedure he did was consistent with my son’s goals and expectations.
Cocky and arrogant. He has no patience or a decent bedside manner. Seems to hate dealing with parents or other family members. If you want someone compassionate or caring, I wouldn't go to his office.
He's arrogant and doesn't seem to care. It's just another patient or procedure to him. He has his typical routine and if you don't go with whatever he says or you ask questions, he is obviously annoyed. We won't be back.
Wonderful doctor I couldn't ask for a better person. Very professional, caring and honest. We absolutely love him. He took care of our son for 9 months and every time we had a visit he was respectful and had a great attitude. Very trustworthy as well. Our son had a hypospadias surgery with a circumcision and a inguinal hernia repair all at once and Dr. Clayton did a wonderful job. His office staff are also very sweet people that always welcomed us.I would defiantly recommend him.
I have visited Dr. Clayton several times, and I have continued to appreciate Dr. Clayton's professional, matter-of-fact approach to his work. He was calm, helpful, friendly, and clear. He also was honoring of me.
He has been very wonderful! Explained everything to us so that we understood it and was very very compassionate. He had answered phone calls and questions every time I needed answers.
Dr. Clayton was an absolute GOD send for us, He saw my grandson and diagnosed the issue immediately, after two other physicians said nothing needed to be done. He was very professional, kind, considerate and compassionate and knew exactly what he was doing and talking about. He needed a minor procedure done, but to us all it was still traumatic. Dr Clayton and his staff was extremely considerate to us, compassionate, very helpful and we would recommend him to everyone.
