he is an awesome Dr for horses,he takes care of our Belgian draft horses,so thorough and if we ask questions he always explains everything,they can be a handful at times but he handles them with ease.best vet in southern Illinois for our big girls and our stallion

Mike and Britt have been great with every pet I have brought to them. They are compassionate, personable and very knowledgeable about the animals! The rest of the staff is just as great!
This is a true vet when they say they care they truly care about the animals I recently lost my boy Zeus to a stroke (I put him down out of his misery) and this vet has been nothing but kind and respectful not only to me but to Zeus in his final moments. I will never have enough kind words to say about the staff and mike himself. Thank you all for being so kind your kindness hasn’t been left unappreciated. I HIGHLY recommend
I just had a post on here and quickly deleted it because the establishment stated they were in South Africa. I then went to look for Douglas veterinary clinic in Salem and started reading the reviews and page info and this is the correct Facebook profile. Once again I’m seeing that this place is very unprofessional and they appear under qualified seeing that the services they did ended up not fixing the problem but creating larger problems. I’ve been using Douglas Vet services since 2007.... Both Mike and Britt and all the staff members show nothing less then compassion for all the animals in their care. Will be a client for as long as I have animals
I want to thank Dr. Mike Douglas for being the best vet there is. He did everything for us today to make the loss of our dog Maverick as easy as possible. Dr. Mike you are the very best.
