I sat on this review for a while.... I never had any behavioral nor mental concerns until my incident -- and I was referred to Douglas County Behavioral Health. I understand that this is a free clinic but at least have doctors in here who cares enough to remember how delicate these patients are when seeking medical assistance. Dr. "Ajayi" yelled at ME when the front desk had to rescheduled my appointment to draw blood, because HE was on vacation. I've been a patient for some time. Over twenty years is say.i missed a couple of appointments when my husband got sick. He had to have surgery and was in bad shape. When I went back they said I owed late fees and I was jobless at that time so I couldn't go back. They have always been free visits for me but something changes when they moved offices. Dr hawk was my doctor but five years later I go back and try AP again and they have me a different Dr and she had all these great ideas about what d she could let me try for meds.... read more
Been going here for 3 years . Not one person here cares about your actual well being . The folks that work here are here to collect a paycheck and could care less about helping make a difference in peoples lives.
But I've been going to Douglas salvation services for many years I've had many issues many issues and I wish my insurance would pay for something better but this is my last St. Draw. Before when I couldn't get my medication and I was going through withdrawal sanley person that suffered with me but now that I have a little girl in school my little girl is confused that her mom is an acting normal because they won't give me one month's prescription till I can get to the appointment they gave me.
