I had my follow up after MRI. I was very pleased with the care and concern shown by Douglas Dow and how he explained each area of the x-ray. I now have a better understanding of what is going on with my spine causing horrific pain in my back and leg. Spine surgery has been recommended and I am considering to have it done. I was able to have a brief meeting with Dr DeHoll that incuriged me to bring my husband to discuss the procedure with us together. I’ve been a critical care RN for almost 6 years. I had an on the job injury and I went to this PA. I told him that I had lower back pain. He dismissed me saying I had fibromyalgia. My pain was no where on the fibromyalgia map. My pcp did a MRI, I had two bulging disc from my L4-L5 and L5-S1. When I went to see this PA he asked me “what do you want me to do?” Well, your job sir.
I had my 1st visit with PA Dow yesterday. This man spent 25 minutes with me explaining and discussing my needs for treatment and care. PA Dow was able to explain some things to me about my spine I'd never known and showed me images for my better understanding. This PA is dedicated to both medicine and his patients. I was quite impressed with him. He showed compassion, professionalism, and dedication. Thank you Doug for your wonderful care.
Waited over an hour. I felt like he completely dismissed me and rushed to get the appointment over in under 10 minutes. It made me feel like there’s no point in seeking help if I’m not going to be treated like a person.
Unprofessional, no bedside manners, no compassion at all for the patient. Uninterested in the care of his patients. Very unethical and prejudiced.
