Shawna was AMAZING for my son! He started seeing her when he was around 9 and had issues with anxiety. She used Pokémon with him in their sessions, which he loved, and it made him really receptive to the coping mechanisms and strategies she taught him. He’s 15 now and you’d never know how much he struggled a few years ago. I cannot express my gratitude enough to Shawna seeing my child within days as a first time patient. We didn't have to wait weeks during a time when weeks were not an option. My child and myself were immediately comfortable with Shawna. She is very approachable and compassionate. Shawna is very caring and great with little ones. She helped us to be better parents to our challenging 4 year old, and if we need a therapist again in the future we'll contact her again!
