Dr Z saved our dogs Spencer life. He had a tumor on his spleen and removed it and he is doing great now. Thanks for all you have done for us.

Our dog Lady (Finseth) was treated for a stroke (on Valentine's Day). She is doing really good today. We just love the staff at Douglas County Animal House.

Awesome friendly staff. Vet was outstanding. Took the time to listen and respond to all of our questions. Grooming did a fantastic job on our Yorkie and Schnauzer dog's. Highly recommend.

I have worked with 3 vets over the last 20 years and 2 dogs. My first experience with Douglas County Animal Hospital (DCAH) was 2 years ago after my dog was tore open by barbed wire on a Sunday. Dr. Glen Zebarth called me back and arranged to open up and meet me. My dog required sedation to repair the damage. The assistant and Dr. impressed me with their skill and personal conduct.A month ago my dog blew out his right ACL. My local vets service was to bring in a certified surgeon. Douglas County Animal Hospital is a good experience Although the facility is older, I think animals are well cared for there. I was met with complete compassion when I had to have my guinea pig put to sleep. We received a sympathy card and a little plaster cast of his paw prints which we put in our flower garden. They have an EXCELLENT groomer - the best I've found in town. Reasonable boarding fees and vet care fees.
