I’ve had bad pelvic area & back pain for almost 5 weeks alongside passing my first kidney stones (last passed a group of debris Jan 2). Experiencing daily pain even weeks after. I explained my symptoms & Dr. Masson said that all my labs and CT scans were normal so, it was a mystery. I explained an odd symptom of spasms in my foot when getting them in my pelvic area. Dr. Masson took over for another doctor and he addressed my issues straight away and helped me with the problem. He listened and recommended treatment that was very helpful. I would recommend him without hesitation.
Douglas Masson destroyed my life. A simple kidney stone and now I can not perform sexually, I now have no semen, I have pain when I try to have intercourse, part of my pen*s is numb, A big sore appeared after a procedure. I have no sex drive anymore. All after my procedure!! I was at my peak in life suxually and it ended the day this doctor put his hands on me. BEWARE!!! I hate my life now, this doctor destroyed me.
90 year old father placed in hospital took 24 hrs for Dr to even bother to make phone call telling my 90 year old father he could not get to him for 2 more days and he would call him back!
Dr Masson proved capable of explaining and performing routine urological exams including cystoscopy and prostate biopsy. We parted company after he insisted that the proper treatment for my oversized prostate was dutasteride to shrink the prostate followed by a simple (open) prostatectomy. Non-invasive HeLOP surgery performed by an experienced surgeon was spectacularly successful.
He did not seem willing to discuss with details the effectiveness and side effects of the injections for residual prostate cancer. Then his staff informed me that he was to order a new one that was extremely expensive and they asked for personal information about income and other things. Now I find that he is no longer to be an approved provider under my WellCare HMO plan. What do I do next?
Dr Masson is brilliant. He was with us the entire journey of my husband’s rare bladder cancer. His treatment plan was the most current protocol, he coordinated with the oncologist and was available for any and all questions we had. I would unreservedly recommend Dr Masson.
