Traditional American food, burgers, Philly cheese steaks, omelettes, skillets, melts. Local veteran has taken the helm of Dougie J’s Cafe. He acquired the cafe from the family of Douglas J. Green, a military hero who was killed in action in Afghanistan. Salazar also served our country from 1988 to 1993 in the US Army as a 91B Combat Medic. Amazing place to eat. And such a wonderful owner so good care of us.. go here if you're in Vegas
First time here. We came in at the end of the day as they close at 3pm and we got there about 2. The place was quiet but the service was good and I was surprised by the food. I had a Bubba, pastrami and cole slaw on rye bread, and was pleased with my selection. Lots of memorabilia on the walls and some great recognition for their honoring of Doug J Green who lost his life in the Middle East. I am efinitely looking forward to my next visit.
Well Well Well!!! I had never heard of this place before yesterday. This place is Awesome!!! Awesome customer service, Awesome space/vibe and Awesome food! I had the stuffed French toast with the bananas and nutella with bacon. My mouth exploded into a happy dance! I woke up today thinking about my breakfast yesterday. I will be returning soon and often! I also really appreciate this place because I'm a veteran and there is not a lot of things like this out there that gives appreciation to active duty and veterans. The food was very tasty. Great little diner. Loved the pancakes and bacon. The potatoes were so tasty to. I usually leave them but not those. Oh so tasty!
